I've been recently going through my unused Cambridge images from the past few months and came across this particular image. I haven't uploaded a bike related image to my blog since early June! I was starting to have withdrawal symptoms from not showing my favourite thing to photography in Cambridge!
Now I've already posted several shots like this, a bike chained up against a fence covered in adverts and billboards for local shows and performances and in many ways this offered nothing extra over those. Basically though; I just like it. I love the shear mass and variety of colour in the shot. I also enjoyed the opportunity to try out a variety of Lightroom filters.
I played about with several different filters with these images to see which one would bring out the colours in the shot. I finally managed to whittle it down to these final two. Let me know which one you prefer - the more matt colours of the top image or the bright and glossy palette of the second.
