This weeks image follows the same theme as last weeks - not the questionable inflatable element, but the capturing of a single moment in time. Taken in the marketplace early one morning, when the only people present were stall holders setting up for the day - I was drawn to the figure in the image because of the presence he appeared to command as he made his way across the cobbles.
He didn't rush, nor did he seemed bothered or interested by anything around him. He just made his way across the cobbles and past the deserted stalls until he disappeared from view.
I tried the photo in both colour and monochrome but I think the black and white effect heightens the editorial nature of the image.
Now a lot of you might just look at it and see a guy walking through the market and nothing else - again that's another beauty of photography - every photo can mean something different to someone else.....
