Mill Reflection

Back to the normal single image and no adverts this week and also a move out side the limits of the city and a familiar location to this blog - Anglesey Abbey. This image was taken during the same trip as the Mill at the end of River image from back in January and I make no apologies for including two very similar images. As i've mentnmioed in the past I love the Anglesey Abbey country park. It is somewhere I have visited many, many times over the last few years and have photographed everything from flowers to tree's to birds to buildings and people. The river which runs through the back of the property and up to the mill is one of my favourite locations.

The mill, (still a working mill, albeit only at weekends and holidays) provides the perfect end point to the river as you stand on its banks from the other end of this stretch of river; tree lined on both sides and every shade of green as far as the eye can see. I cannot think of a more idilic scene. On this particular day the mill was also casting an almost perfect reflection in the still river in front.

I played about with the colours with this image in Lightroom and added a slight green hue to the image and also softened some of the edges of the image.
