Phantom of the Adverts

Back to bikes this week and two of the things I like to photograph in Cambridge the most - the aforementioned bikes and the colourful adverts that adorn almost every fence, wall and post in the city. This is not the first image I have blogged with bikes or posters or bike and posters and i'm sure it won't be the last. The shear variety of colour and styles makes then a photographers paradise.....

By now you might have worked out what the title of this weeks image relates to. If not, have a closer look at the photo you might just see it - no? Ok I'll explain. Towards the middle of the image you might just be able to work out a familiar looking object which relates to a very famous musical. Phantom of the Opera to be precise. Admittedly if you aren't a fan or familiar with musicals this might be over your head! Look towards the middle of the photo and you will see the white iconic mask from the Phantom musical. I think it was advertising a night club of some kind! I kept seeing that particular advert around the city on that day and found myself drawn towards it.

You will also see another addition below to the page this week. A link which takes you to my photography store where you can purchase digital, printed and frames copies of the images in question. I use the well established, reliable  and secure "FineArtAmerica" photography service to host my photography store and sell my work through and you will find  a large amount of the blog images there for sale. My work is available in a variety of options, including digital downloads, prints, framed prints and canvas versions. You can even buy them as greetings cards or phone covers! Have a look and as always if there is something you would like that you cannot see please contact me.
