I must be honest and say I'm quite proud of this one. Taken at last years Midsummer Fair. I hadn't gone there to capture this sort of image; more to try and get some fairground based street photography instead. Peoples reactions while on the rides (and after) or just after winning some massive oversized teddy bear and having no idea what to do with it.
The reality never really matched my plans. The fair turned out to be far less busy than expected and the fading light made capturing people expressions difficult. I soon gave up and turned my attention to the rides themselves.
It's here that I must explain why I'm so proud of this image. Typically you would need a tripod for this kind of shot - taken with a long exposure you need a very steady foundation otherwise the camera (and the finished image) will be all over the place. This image was actually taken complete handheld. I'm quite proud of that!
Taken with a Canon 70D DSLR Camera and Sigma 18-250 Lens.
