Ok, I know this is the third sunrise/set image in three consecutive weeks and I promise it will be the last one for a while. I find these images and the way they come around so intoxicating. The way the sky changes from complete darkness to this golden fire colour and vice versa at dusk.
This weeks image was taken while literally hanging from our upstairs window - trying to get a clean shot and avoid capturing the window frame instead.
I managed to capture the last few moments as the sun went down behind the nearby houses. It took almost thirty shots in those seconds - using the continuous function to try and get as many shots as possible.
My unconventional (one handed) shooting position didn't help with getting the perfect image and the majority of the shots were either slightly out of focus or simply not framed properly, I did however manage to get a couple of decent shots where the building silhouettes were in focus and captured the firey ripples of the sunset.
